Music Across the AgesSunday, March 11, 2012, 3:30 PM Mass in C- Beethoven Soprano - Andrea Matthews The Mastersingers will span the ages with this delightful concert featuring the Mastersingers (ages 16-89) performing Beethoven's choral classic, Mass in C. AVM will then be joined by the Worcester Children's Chorus (ages 8-18) to present Rutter's Mass of the Children. Written in 2003, this work combines the traditional Latin Mass texts with popular hymns to embrace a complete day, from waking to sleeping. Program Notes for Mass in C |

Music of the TheaterCelebrating our 35th Season!Saturday, May 19, 2012, 7:30 PM Choruses from Opera, Operetta, and Broadway Presenting AVM's popular Great Opera Choruses with a new twist! The program will include some of our opera favorites as well as lighter music from Strauss's Die Fledermaus to Gilbert and Sullivan. The program will close with choruses from America's Broadway Theater. |
