The Sterling Brass Consort is a brass ensemble made up of freelance musicians with a wide variety of diverse musical backgrounds. The group was founded by trumpet player Jonathan Clark in 1989 and ranges in size from 2 to 6 players. Its members perform with The Worcester Symphony, Hartford Symphony, Massachusetts Symphony, and the United States Coast Guard Band in New London, Connecticut. The Sterling Brass Consort is also the resident brass ensemble at The Cathedral of Saint Patrick in Norwich Connecticut, playing for numerous special occasions and festivals. The glorious sound of The Sterling Brass Consort is one that is never forgotten.
