Student Scholar Awards are available to two local graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing music programs in college.

Assabet Valley Mastersingers Choral Scholar Award – $500

Guidelines for Eligibility

  • Has participated in one or more choral music ensemble(s) throughout their high school career
  • Has demonstrated leadership as a member of the ensemble(s)
  • Has achieved both academic and musical excellence throughout their high school career
  • Has been accepted to a college or university and plans to enroll in music classes and/or ensembles in the upcoming academic year

*Made possible through chorus donations and the purchase of scholarship/scholar award basket tickets by concert performers and audience members. Thank you!

Lucille Alma Flynn Music Scholar Award – $2,000

Guidelines for Eligibility

  • Has participated in one or more choral OR instrumental ensemble(s) throughout their high school career
  • Has demonstrated leadership as a member of the ensemble(s)
  • Has achieved both academic and musical excellence throughout their high school career
  • Has been accepted to a college or university and plans to enroll in music classes and/or ensemble(s) in the upcoming academic year (ie. Music Instruction, Choral/Instrumental Studies)
