Messe Chorale– Gounod
Gloria– Poulenc
With Organ and soloist
Soprano – Maria Ferrante

Messe Chorale is a newly discovered late 19th -century choral gem by a most notable but often neglected French composer. A mature work, noticeable for its simplicity and use of chant, Messe Chorale will contrast sharply with the energetic, rhythmic, and exciting sounds of Poulenc’s very popular Gloria.
