Versatile mezzo-soprano Britt Brown’s engagements this season include creating the role of Lavinia in the world premiere of Amber Vistein’s opera Dark Exhalation at the Granoff Center (Brown University), Alto Soloist in Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass (Nashoba Valley Chorale), and Peter Lieberson’s Neruda Songs (Indian Hill Orchestra), and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (New Philharmonia Orchestra). Notable past appearances include the premiere of Dream Songs with internationally-acclaimed violinist Olga Patramanska-Bell (Juventas New Music), The Leading Player in Pippin (Music on Norway Pond) and several principal roles with MASSOpera, Lowell House Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative, and others.
