Mark Anderson, baritone, has been a frequent guest artist with the Arizona Opera, San Diego Opera, Saint Louis Opera, Portland Opera Repertory Theater, and Boston Lyric Opera singing Figaro, Leporello, Geronte, Colline, Don Alfonso, Sarastro, Snug, Sparafucile, Escamillo, The Bonze, and the Villains in Tales Of Hoffman.
Among the conductors and coaches with whom Mr Anderson has worked are Dona D. Vaughan, Colin Graham, Robert Spano, Sharon Daniels, Henry Holt, Giorgio Tozzi, Stephen Steiner, Edouard Muller, Jonathan Field, Tullio Collacioppo, Richard Bouldry, Mitchell Krieger, Walter Decloux, Daniel Sullivan, and Daniel Beckwith.
Mr. Anderson has been honored by the Metropolitan National Council Auditions and the San Francisco Opera Auditions with first place and encouragement awards. He has been a recipient of the Igor Gorin Memorial Fund Award. As well as his operatic repertoire, Mr. Anderson has frequently sung Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Handel’sMessiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Haydn’s Mass In Time Of War, and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony
