Emma Riffelmacher

Emma is a singer, performer, and music enrichment specialist who is thrilled to join the Assabet Mastersingers as General Manager. She joins after managing a small vocational and media focused program for special needs adults based out the Fine Arts Theatre in Maynard.

Music has always been an important part of Emma’s life, beginning with violin at the age of five. Emma grew up in Littleton, MA, playing violin with her parents, attending classes and camps together, nurturing her musical interests and talents. As she grew up, singing became more of a passion and musical focus. Emma was very involved in the music department in school, playing percussion and serving as drum major with the band and performing in as many high school and community musical productions as she could.

Emma earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Baldwin Wallace University.

Much of Emma’s professional career has been spent enriching the lives of vulnerable populations, mainly seniors and special needs adults. Emma continues to provide music enrichment, movement, and memory programs specialized for individual needs. She is also a preschool music enrichment specialist through Jammin with You.

Emma lives in Maynard with her two children and two cats. When she is not making music, Emma enjoys spending hiking and camping with family and friends.

Emma is excited to support the Assabet Valley Mastersingers as they bring magnificent choral works to the community.
