Travis Benoit

Travis Benoit is a conductor, singer, and music educator from Worcester, Massachusetts, with extensive experience in sacred music, concert music, and choral leadership in academic, professional, and church settings. He holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Boston University, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Gordon College.

Benoit currently serves as Manager of Choirs at Harvard University, where he supports the Harvard Glee Club and Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum. He is also Summer Music Director at The Hanover Theater and Conservatory, where he leads youth musical theater and summer music programs, and serves as Assistant Conductor with Boston Children’s Chorus.

A seasoned performer as well as conductor, Benoit has appeared with ensembles including Ensemble Altera, CONCORA, Vox Futura, EnsembleNYC, and Cor Unum Singers, and he has also worked as a tenor soloist in major sacred and concert works. He has held additional leadership and teaching roles at Phillips Academy, Worcester Academy, Endicott College, and the Magnificat Institute of Sacred Music.
